So my underclassmen is getting married. I have been courting the idea of a double gift (birthday/engagement) for a while, and the bright idea I had was the Date in a Basket.
Originally I thought to do wine, gift cards, a perfume and a scarf, only to realize that it’s not my friend’s style. So I switched to two gift cards ($25 movies, $50 for The Keg), matcha green tea, a mug, chocolate hazelnut tea, a jar of gummy sharks, and a scarf.
It my not look like much, but it is the most I have spent on a gift for non-family. I figured since it’ll be her fiancé’s first time up north, she could enjoy a nice little date night on me.
